We are big fans of Teltonika and the new Teltonika RUT206 is the brand new compact, industrial 4G router with 2 x Ethernet, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and serial interface (RS232/RS485) and supports dual SIM (SIM failover) and as default supports POE Powering (802.3af)

Teltonika RUT206 Key Features

If you are looking for a compact, industrial LTE 4G Router and have been using the RUT200 or RUT241 routers then the key differences between these and the new RUT206 are listed below. Basically the RUT206 has dual SIM slots (accessible by removing the front panel using the supplied HEX key). It also inlcudes a serial interface that works for both RS232 and RS485 and finally the other big key feature is that the router can be powered with passive or active POE.

Becuase the router can be powered with POE, Teltonika do not inlcude a mains PSU in the box, in fac there is very little supplied with the router apart from a SIM adapter kit and a HEX key.

If you are not powering the RUT206 with a POE switch and want to use the 12VDC connector and want a UK Mains PSU then you need the Teltonika PR3PRUK6. You will also need to order antennas for both the cellular and WiFi.

The RUT206 is powered using POE so is not supplied with a UK mains PSU like other Teltonika routers such as the RUT200, RUT901, RUT906 etc so if not using an existing POE switch to provide power to the router, we have available various Teltonika power options inlcuding a single POE injector, Mains plug or a DIN rail mounted power supply. We can also provide Teltonika POE switches.
